My son lived in copenhaguen since 3 years, but now he has to return to our country because family problems. What we have to do with his CPR number ? thanks for your reply.

Your son needs to contact the borger service in his kommune and tell them he is moving and give a forwarding address. His CPR number will be his forever, it is not cancelled. He may need to use again, if he moves back to Denmark. The borger service can explain and help him make sure he has done everything he needs to do to fullfill any government requirements.
